CFB DFS: The Tailgate – Oct 26th

And look at that, we are into the final Saturday in October for College Football.  A game that should get zero DFS attention today is Notre Dame at Navy, but that’s a fantastic game in my mind and one where you could do worse on a “low owned” sleeper or two, but likely you want to just watch it instead of trying to be the smartest guy on the bus.

MARYLAND at MINNESOTA

  • Maryland:  Tai Felton, Kaden Prather, Roman Hemby
  • Minnesota:  Max Brosmer, Daniel Jackson, Darius Taylor

TULANE at NORTH TEXAS

Damn straight kiddos….  How do you know November football is almost here?  Besides looming MACTION coming our way we have American Athletic Conference action on a Saturday afternoon too with zero defense being played.

  • Tulane:  Makhi Hughes
  • N.Texas:  Chandler Morris, DT Sheffield

Texas Tech at TCU

  • TCU:  Josh Hoover, Jack Bech
  • TTU:  Tahj Brooks, Josh Kelly

This is one of the most boring QB slates all season.  So when that happens you either go all the way up to Jalen Milroe and hope for that show me game or you pay down for a value pick.  As you can see below, Brosmer is the value pick I am going with against the Terps pass defense which could be even more vulnerable on the road.  Hoover and Morris are mid range QB2 options you can use naked in S-FLEX.

  1. Max Brosmer (Minnesota – $5000)
  2. Josh Hoover (TCU – $8500)
  3. Chandler Morris (North Texas – $8900)

I can’t ignore Tulane on the main slate.  Versus North Texas is just too much fun, Hughes could have a 5+ YPC game and should go over the 100 yard bonus easily.  Wisner is a nice value here as well giving you more flexibility to pay up in S-FLEX builds as he is figuring to once again be the primary back for Texas.

  1. Makhi Hughes (Tulane – $7400)
  2. Quintrevion Wisner (Texas – $4800)
  3. Jordan James (Oregon – $7800)
  4. RJ Harvey (UCF – $9200)
  5. Eli Heidenreich (Navy – $6400)

  1. Daniel Jackson (Minnesota – $4500) … He is better than Helm and probably has a better game script to be honest.  I love this game too much, so lets just go all in on the Gophers passing game for cheap.
  2. Jack Bech (TCU – $8000)
  3. Darius Lassiter (BYU – $5800)
  4. Gunnar Helm (Texas – $3300) … With Bond out the value chalk here is going to slide over to Gunnar Helm
  5. Tai Felton (Maryland – $8800)
  6. Giles Jackson (Washington – $5400)
