- Josh Allen (DK: $7800, FD: $8800) … The game of the day. Love both QB in this one and wouldn’t fault going with Mahomes here too.
- Bo Nix (DK: $6200, FD: $7400) … I think there’s points in this game. Atlanta’s been moving the ball offensively but not stopping anything over the last 28 days. As an almost 3 point home favorite today Bo Nix and the Broncos are in that dangerous, we might not win but our QB is gonna have to make lots of third down plays territory today and Nix is growing more and more comfortable in the offense and should have a big red zone performance IMO with his legs.
- Jared Goff (DK: $6300, FD: $8300) … While we all want that QB to rush for 40 yards and give us a touchdown, sometimes you just take the cheap guy who is also the shortest odds to throw 3+ TD on the entire slate while being < 5% owned.
- Nick Chubb (DK: $6000, FD: $6200) … Would be the easiest pick of the season if not for Jerome Ford taking some carries still and Jameis Winston likely keeping it and chucking it a few times too many as well. Pete Werner is banged up again for the Saints and if you do not know the impact he has on this rush defense, well, without him they go to atrocious and with him… Okay, they still suck, but at least there is someone trying.
- Kyren Williams (DK: $7900, FD: $9200) … Coaching does matter. This is a Rams win and it’s done with tons of Kyren Williams on the ground gashing up the Patriots. Under McVay the Rams are 10-3 in east coast 1PM games & they have won 5 straight games off short rest. I love when we have a good team coming off a loss against a bad team coming off a win as well. Expect the Rams to win this by 10+ points and the second/third touchdowns from Kyren going along with that.
- D’Andre Swift (DK: $6600, FD: $7100) … The Chicago offense meanwhile is a hot coaching mess. They’re gonna try to fix things, but you can’t fix stupid right now. The one thing you CAN do though is lean on the ground game against the weakness of the other defense being on the ground as well.
The Also Like List — RB Is very deep today
- Breece Hall, Kareem Hunt, Jonathan Taylor
- Justin Jefferson (DK: $8600, FD: $9000) … So much WR value out there this week that I can afford to pay not only at RB but also here at WR1. Sam Darnold is being made fun of for going back to old Darnold — but I do trust the coaching staff to focus this right against what is still a slightly funnel defense on the Titans side. If we’re seeking a way to must have 100 yards receiving and 2 TD, Jetta gets my seal of approval (bold, I know)
- Mike Williams (DK: $4100, FD: $5700) … Something about Mike Williams being able to high point those Russell Wilson moonballs is the perfect match. Yes, that’s what everyone wants to think regarding Pickens as well – but Williams fits it extremely well too. Great spot for a heavy passing game from Pittsburgh too. I expect Pickens to be a high owned so consider this a top Ambush style pivot, but both make sense.
- Deebo Samuel (DK: $6800, FD: $8200) … Deebo has one receiving TD this year and it was versus Seattle a month ago. He’s getting another one today and I can see it most definitely coming early in the game.
- Elijah Moore (DK: $5500, FD: $4300) … This game could wind up with a 41-30 type final score, where everyone scores. I mean everyone. Defenses, punters, kick returners, etc.., etc.., etc…
- Marquez Valdes-Scantling (DK: $4400, FD: $5900) … Soo, everyone is going back to AK41 but ignoring that MVS is clearly getting the Shaheed routes now? Carr is still going to air it out deep when he can (OL is healthier this week) and this is a cheap price for someone with 1 catch, 60 yards, touchdown potential each drive the way they’re gonna use him.
