A year ago for the CFB playoff first round was a pretty strong lean on all four home teams advancing, but this year it’s not as clean and easy to just parlay the home teams and so I think that open sup the contrarian angle on DFS today but when we boil down the plays, it’s very challenging to actually have the guts to fade the heavy chalk spots because of that darned rule in DFS where you need the most points to win. Imagine that.
Dante Moore (Oregon – $7200)
The Ducks are not that good, but Dante Moore’s stock is about to skyrocket because of that. He’s everything for them to advance through the CFB Playoff.
Trinidad Chambliss (Ole Miss – $8200)
HC is gone (as we all know) and so it turns over to the QB, as when in doubt he will definitely utilize his legs when seeing things they might not be fully prepared for.
Kewan Lacy (Ole Miss – $7800)
This is a prime example of what I mean in the intro. 80% owned on Lacy would probably be low as he is the best player on the slate in terms of talent + usage and I kinda think motivation as well. Lacy and Chambliss together is not going to burn you either, but between the two, I think Lacy is the one we’ll just use and move on for sure.
Mark Fletcher (Miami – $5000)
Smartest path for Miami is do not let Carson Beck try to drop back and beat the Aggies pass rush.
Jamauri McClure (Tulane – $5300)
The Green Wave’s backfield is McClure’s right now & he is delivering of late with three 90+ yard games. Unfortunately though he offers almost zero receiving upside and the game script definitely can turn against him in the second half.
KC Concepcion (Texas A&M – $6200)
Whether or not Moss plays for the Aggies, this has to be a game you utilize Concepcion even more than usual. His consistent floor and ability to break a big play, combined with likely getting extra catches close to the line of scrimmage to avoid Miami’s pressure adds up to him being the WR we just secure in and move on from there.
Malik Benson (Oregon – $4700)
Some questionable injuries at WR for Oregon could help boost Benson up in usage today. We don’t need much & he’s mostly just a correlation play with Moore
Malachi Toney (Miami – $6900)
The fade if you are so bold to fade one.
