Byrum Brown (Auburn – $7800)
The transfer is re-united with his former coach and if you don’t remember the path that Jayden Daniels took just a couple years ago to a Heisman Campaign then you should quickly refresh your memory and maybe call your doctor because it was like 5 seconds ago and this is that scenario all over again.
D.J. Lagway (Baylor – $6500)
Whenever you get a below 7k Quarterback making a transfer spot in a game that has good upside for high scoring potential & he has to counter the rival Quarterback who is heavy chalk … you take it.
Cam Cook (West Virginia – $8700)
Hi, my name is Steve and I have this weird soft spot for West Virginia Running Backs at home, because no matter the year, the coach or the player, they’re just good for 20 carries and 150 yards rushing every… damn…. time…. Now, this might not be that slate breaking week and DK did a good job on his price, but the Jacksonville State transfer has just as much to prove in his Morgantown debut as does the poweful freshman behind him in Amari Latimer ($5100). Expect WVU to work their new offense full of transfers in through the ground. The Michael Hawkins game will come later.
Nate Sheppard (Duke – $7900)
Duke is being slept on today. Either Shepp or their top TE Hasley has a big game here because Tulane is one of the biggest fades in the country this season.
Hollywood Smothers (Texas – $7100)
Speaking of fantastic RB transfers, Smothers comes over to a system with a legit QB threat, a legit OL and a defense that should be giving the Longhorns plenty of early game possessions. For that reason I think the 2 TD upside is strong here unless of course we get full Arch Manning Heisman Campaign in week 1.
WR is where the value is – as usual in college DFS.
Keshaun Singleton (Auburn – $6100)
Best exposure to a WR in this game should come through Singleton.
Beau Sparks (Texas State – $5200)
Chalky probably due to his price and the expected “theyre getting blown out they have to pass” narrative, but I don’t think Texas completely puts their foot down to be honest with you and thus he actually benefits because it’s more production in key third down situations.
Louis Brown IV (Baylor – $4800)
Cheap exposure on the Baylor side. Tough to pinpoint down to one WR for them but I’ll roll the dice here.
