Scheduling Notes:  The Royals/White Sox is not on any DFS slate tonight, this is a great thing folks.  The Yankees/Red Sox G2 of their Double-Header will be on DraftKings MAIN slate tonight.   WEATHER I believe all games will play.   My top options today: Justin Verlander (DK: $10.7k, FD: $10.3k) … Compared to the other high end $ options tonight I have no hesitation with a chalky JV. Patrick Sandoval (DK: $7500, FD: $9300) … More of an SP2 DraftKings pick tonight.  Seattle has not hit sliders very well and it’s the one pitch that Sandoval can really lean on when he needs to get a big out. Bryan Woo (DK: $7900, FD: $9500) … I am not a huge fan but the Angels aren’t very good from the right side and he has been extremely good in those splits with a 28.8% strikeout rate and allowing just .265 xSLG.   Other pitching thoughts No dice on Max for me tonight.  Toronto’s PA of late have been solid enough and him in this park vs this lineup just smells like a 3-4 HR night.  I like Toronto to win this game and the over once again. The Beavis and Butthead matchup between Ryne Nelson and Jose Butthole might seem tempting to try and get a couple sub 6500 draftkings options that will not go negative.  Unfortunately, Ryne Nelson has as good of a shot at getting 4+ strikeouts as Aaron Rodgers did at having 4 completions last night.  Butto is okay as a cheap punt. Freddy Peralta for almost 12k.  No thank you.   Top games/teams today: Chicago Cubs (Tauchman, Happ, Suzuki) … The OF for the Cubs tonight are priced moderate given the Coors environment and the weather is fine. Brewers (Santana, Adames, T.Taylor) … The pitching is carrying the Brewers right now, the cheap hitting should beat up on the Marlins though. September baseball is going to go into full swing tonight because temps around the country have dropped down to where we would expect this time of year.  I would also naturally expect HR’s to drastically drop and so your building of stacks is definitely tied to teams that we think are in good form or going into good form to have those key men on base hits.   WEATHER Yankees at Red Sox:  Likely a PPD risk here Cubs at Rockies:   No delay issues, just noting a Coors game with only mid 60’s temps   My top options today: Tyler Glasnow (DK: $10.8k, FD: $11.5k) … This is a TOUGH price on FanDuel to justify given Glasnow’s frequency to turn into glass.  Minnesota though does carry a lot of swing and miss upside, with 31% rate over the last week and Glasnow’s 34.7% strikeout rate on LHH should be favorable for the expected Twins lineup tonight.  He’s a definite top arm on DK and FD if you can smash it in comfortably (ahem, there is Coors today but its Chilly Coors) Jesus Luzardo (DK: $8500, FD: $9700) … A deep pitching slate, but a little discount with the upside on Luzardo puts him ahead of guys like Gilbert/Detmers/Williams who I considered briefly.  I think there are enough strikeouts here to get out of jams tonight and he should keep the walks down to allow him to get through 6 innings total.
