NFL Notes – Week 4

• 13-6 … dunno who wins. 13-6

• Jets win
• Sam Darnold looks respectable.  280 yards passing, 2 TD, 30 yards rushing.
• I couldn’t name any Jets skill players besides the White Berrios, so White Berrios it is.
• Broncos … Maybe Jeudy?  Maybe?  I have no idea.  I’ll just play Baseball DFS.

• Saints defense scores
• Deonte Harris scores
• Deonte Harris catches a touchdown from Taysom Hill
• Also see Taysom having a long run, dont know if he gets in.
• Latavius Murray has 80 yards rushing
• Kenny Golladay catches a big one, no doubt about it.  Gotta look at Golladay
• Dom thinks the Lions defense scores too
• Marvin Jones has similar yardage game for Lions.  80-85 receiving

• I do not believe Thomas is playing or a factor if he does play.
• Cam Jordan gets a sack.   This is a bigger deal than you realize.
• Saints D is always better after week 3 and will right the ship, forces two turnovers.
• Manny Sanders will definitely score again.  The trust is there.
• Brees will look good, not great though because they’ll be balanced.  Throws 2 TD, no 300 yard game though.  He is so cheap though that he’s a cash game recommendation.
• TreQuan likely scores too, but it’s on a busted play following a DET turnover if he does
• None of the Saints WR are must owns in DFS, but I think you can take a gamble on Sanders or TreQuan on DK if they’re still cheap.
• If Thomas sits you have to consider AK on DK simply due to volume of catches.
• One of the Lions WR catches a bomb.  Good luck figuring out which one.
• I’d rather avoid this game personally.  Its not a shootout and is bad chalk unless it’s a cheap Kamara and Thomas is sitting.
• HOWEVER….
• HOWEVER…
• IF Hockenson has a strong game then we HAVE to accept that the Saints (Anzalone/Jenkins) are BAD against Tight Ends again.  I think a lot of this is due to Jenkins being so aggressive compared to the conservative Von Bell.  This might be a real thing.  We HAVE to monitor this.
• Adam Trautman has 4 or 5 catches to show signs that he is going to be the TE1 by mid season for the Saints.  His run blocking is good enough and Cook is done.
• IF we have NO Tight Ends this week, Hock in the Box could be the play again.

• Like Chargers side of the ball, dont know why yet
• Scotty Miller scores for Tampa
• Godwin has a HIGH volume catch game, not anything down field.
• This is a dud game for Mike Evans, do not play him.
• Don’t like the Tampa side.
• Mr. Bosa makes his presence known to Mr. Brady.  Several sacks for Chargers.
• Dom has a defense complex this week.
• Could be 80 yard rushing day for Josh Kelly and ball control on Chargers side.
• Hunter Henry 12 yard touchdown but that’s it.  Not a must own.
• Sneaky Defense Weak

• I really like the Chargers defense to play well.
• Herbert showed me some toughness yesterday.  He was horrible, got hurt, immediately got back in the game.  He might be a “gamer” who plays up in the big spot and down in the quiet games.  I seem to recall this being the case at Oregon.
• Gotta respect Chargers defense.  Brady tried to get everyone their TD in easy game vs Broncos (Godwin scored, Evans scored, Gronk almost had a TD)
• Can’t do that this week.  Back to Scotty Miller catching 6-8 passes.  Whole world might hype up Evans or Godwin (*might*), but Miller does the work.
• Great is this the mid range boring WR week?
• Oh hey Keenan Allen.  Lots of volume for Keenan and Ekeler.
• Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler game.  Chargers are a sneaky stack on DK.
• I’m not worried about early game for Chargers.

• Jaguars win the game
• But explain to me how Joe Mixon doesn’t get 120 and 2 TD?
• Because it’s gonna happen.  120 total yards and 2 touchdowns.
• Like this game for scoring.  A.J. Green scores and if dirt cheap he is on radar.

• Shenault scores
• Dede Westbrook scores
• James Robinson scores off a screen pass, catches a screen to the house.
• Gardner Minshew neeeds to be on your radar – hate to say that, sorry.
• Gonna have a 27-24 Jacksonville final.  Higher scoring.
• Joe Mixon is the must own.

• Well, I don’t like teams coming off a TIE
• If Minshew really is Winston 2.0/Tampa then he shows it here with a 350+ yard game and a few scores.  Minshew no doubt is a popular recommendation this week.  Has to be?
• Shenault game.  Was overhyped last Thursday.  Shenault, Shenault, Shenault.
• As great as the 2 TD game from Higgins was, you saw his lack of speed as an issue for him being a star in the NFL.  But man AJ green looked old.

• Tyler Boyd should catch 7 passes easily.
• I feel like there’s a little bit of underwhelm here, but I could be overthinking it.

• Brandin Cooks sighting, scores a 30 yarder
• Texans win this game, going to describe some things but not sure the fireworks.
• Cooks 30 yarder,  but not more than 70 yards.
• Also think David Johnson gets 124 combined yards, not sure he scores.
• If DJ is a RB he wont burn you, but a backup RB for Texans gets one (Duke Johnson)
• David Johnson racks up a ton of yards.  DJ has as many through air as ground, could be a great DK play this week if cheap enough.   Texans win.
• No doubt Kyle Rudolph scores a 4 yard TD….   ohhh shit he says.
• Darren Fells scores for Texans.  22 yard TD — Dom’s strongest opinion on game.
• No doubt about mind that Theilen has 6 catches minimum.
• 28-17 Texans.

• I need help here.  This game could be 52-49, but I dont see it
• 16-9, Texans win.   Texans have played 3 good teams and lost.  Texans are WAY BETTER, no?
• David Johnson gets over 100 all purpose yards and the lone Texans touchdown.  He scores on the opening drive and then they pull the plug on this game by halftime.
• David Johnson is a top safe play this week.
• Next….   No wait … Brandin Cooks catches a 40 yard bomb
• 23-9, Texans win.
• I just don’t see how the Vikings do much offensively.
• Houston isn’t that shootout team this year.

• Dom likes Miami side of this game.  Let down spot for Seattle, doesn’t mean they lose.
• Would not be shocked if Russell Wilson still gets 3 touchdowns total (ceiling)
• Is Jacob Hollister on the team still?
• Hollister scores a touchdown or Will Dissly might score – like the TE
• Third receiver could score.  Metcalf could get a bullshit.
• Third WR – support WR.  If he throws a 3rd its 2nd TE or Metcalf bullshit TD
• Which still means Wilson has a safe cash game floor
• Offensive opportunity on Miami side.  Like Fitzmagic & Parker (TD)
• Gisecki no doubt scores.  Not Preston.
• Seattle defense has a let down, could be Gaskin.
• Definitely like offense in this game, Fitzmagic side (Parker/Gisecki/Hollister/David Moore or some third WR douchebag).   Do not like the running games.

• Wilson does what he does, leads a late comeback charge for Seattle.
• Jacob Hollister and Moore or Freddie Swain scores for the Seahawks and you might say man I wish I had Jacob Hollister as my TE this week.
• I can definitely see DK Metcalf scoring here as well but it’s spread around.   No Lockett.
• Carlos Hyde touchdown?
• I am assuming Jamal Adams sits but Fitzmagic won’t do it again.
• I really dont like anything on the Dolphins side ever.
• Parker with a ton of catches?
• I want to cross this game off but Seattle games shouldn’t be crossed off.

• Steelers win
• If Deonte Johnson plays he will score
• James Washington may score or Darius Heyward-Bey
• This game is a cross off
• Dom has no clue who the chalkiest player of the week is??????

• Steelers win the game 19-13.

• I can’t get Ju-Ju Smith Schuster out of my mind.
• Gimme JuJu for 140 yards and a TD.

• Not Derrick Henry, not without Taylor Lewan if he is out.
• If Lewan is out Steelers Defense could be an optimal play.
• Love the Steelers to win easily and wouldn’t be shocked if James Conner has a solid game but oddly enough they’re not overworking him.

• This will be an entertaining game and you will need a couple pieces in this game.
• Cleveland side:  Absolutely LOVE Jarvis Landry, think he has a big day, 150, 6 catches and a touchdown.  Hoping he gets in twice.  Think he has a GREAT day.
• Irrelevant, Austin Hooper sighting.  He scores 8 yard out, but not playing him.
• Nothing else on Cleveland side of the ball.  Baker 3 TD, 3 INT
• Love Jarvis
• Dallas wins the game & the win the game because Zeke runs for 180 and 2 TD
• They ground and pound and he just tears it up
• Amari Cooper has a very good catch game – Safe cash game play.
• No other WR.  Zeke game.  All Zeke.
• Come home, 1-2.  Settle things down and ground/pound w/ Zeke
• All the Zeke.

• Found RB1.  Zeke over Kamara.
• Zeke Elliott domination game.  McCarthy has NEVER been a guy to solely commit to the run, but it will be so easy here he has no choice.  Start lineups with Zeke and Zeke.
• But play the Zeke.
• Gotta love OBJ for Cleveland and that pains me to say.  Like him and Kareem Hunt.
• Landry and OBJ both give Dallas fits here.
• Baker.  Baker-Landry-OBJ-Zeke.
• BAKER IS NEVER A DFS QUARTERBACK

• Arizona wins this game 23-13, maybe 26-16.

• Larry Fitzgerald, 7 yard slant.   Somewhere on the field.

• Cardinals defense plays extremely well.

• I think this is a fairly good game, but so far games in LA have been underwhelming if you know what I mean.
