The Slapshot – Feb 18th

Nine games on this Thursday and there’s seemingly ice everywhere right now so I am sure that you want to get into the mood to drop the puck and play some NHL DFS.  We finally have some refreshing new match-ups from the past two weeks so that is tempting enough to dive in heavily.  Lets go.

TOP STACKS

Columbus Blue Jackets

Jack Roslovic – Cam Atkinson – Patrik Laine …

Little stack about Jack and Cam.  Two American kids skating out in the America’s heartland.  Oh yeah.  Stack the Blue Jackets.  Long after the thrill, of the cannons firing off is gone.   Alright, that was a really lame attempt at a parody song but the Jackets are the top play today versus the Predators.  With enough time together this line is producing and more importantly gaining full trust of Torts to not mix up the lines during the game constantly.

Boston Bruins

I really wanted to consider loading up on some BOS1 full stack but it looks like they might be mixing things up a bit.  Great spot for Bergeron.

San Jose vs St. Louis

The Blues are finally done playing the Arizona Coyotes.  This ends in one of two scenarios, either we find out that playing Arizona gives you super powers and they win 8-0 against the Sharks today or the more likely scenario is that the Blues and their struggling PK come out and play like absolute dog shit.

Toronto Maple Leafs

Whatever….  I mean, the AM34 streak at this point is just ridiculous because he’s getting the same damn match-up every single night and nobody has the balls to throw a hard hit on him to shake things up.  Toronto is basically on auto play on smaller slates but a big one like this I can avoid them personally.

KEY SKATERS

CENTERS

Jack Roslovic (CLS)

Patrice Bergeron (BOS)

Logan Couture (SJ)

WINGS

Cam Atkinson (CLS)

Taylor Hall (BUF) & Sam Reinhart (BUF) … Caps have struggled against wingers lately and Buffalo on the road here should get some production from this line.  Both skate on PP1 with Eichel as well.

Evander Kane (SJ)

Brad Marchand (BOS)

Alex Ovechkin (WSH) … It’s coming and you and I both know it.

DEFENSEMAN

I have much more faith in the forwards tonight than D, so its a day to get sub 5k on the blue liners if you can..

Ivan Provorov (PHI) … Wow, $6100 for Provorov?  Steep but grades well tonight.

Seth Jones (CLS)

Hampus Lindholm (ANA)

P.K. Subban (NJD)
