Quick article for the afternoon 5 game slate which has risk of becoming a 3 game slate with 2 weather spots
- KC at Chicago – GAME PPD
- Milwaukee at St. Louis – Rain Here, but not as bad. If it plays it’s a decent hitting spot relative to the slate.

JAKE deGROM (DK: $10,300, FD: Who cares)
Until deGrom is 12,000 or there’s another pandemic deGrom is the play.
MICHAEL PINEDA (DK: $8,600)
This season so far has shown us that the ‘obvious’ pitching is going to get theirs early in the year when hitting is down and lets just keep riding that with chilly temps in Minnesota and a weak Seattle offense on the other side. The other options are limited with rain in two spots and the other game has two arms I don’t wanna trust (Archer vs German).
My contrarian SP2 is Trevor Rogers for the Marlins. He’s got very good stuff that could get a few strikeouts for $6,900 and the Mets have a long history of just not winning or scoring for deGrom.

YANKEES vs RAYS
DJ LeMahieu, Aaron Hicks, Jay Bruce
Austin Meadows, Yandy Diaz
Pick on Archer and note their bullpen isn’t quite what it was in years past either. It sounds like Judge is going to be out through the weekend again but even if he does play I would avoid him until he starts to show that he is right.
CARDINALS vs BREWERS
Yelich, Avisail Garcia,
Arenado, O’Neill, Carlson
Secondary play due to weather but the good news for bats is that the wind is blowing out heavily to center field. Great start in the new home for Arenado, but the value on St. Louis is with O’Neill, Carlson and Carpenter.
