Another good weather night in September, enjoy it.

Nathan Eovaldi
I love Eovaldi tonight against Seattle and should see him as the lower owned pitcher who has a chance to out perform both Cole and Giolito as the high end SP1 tonight. He’ll give us 6+ innings, 7+ strikeouts and very good shot at no earned runs. He’s my favorite pitcher tonight.
Anthony DeSclafani
It’s been a while, but I am back on the Italian train tonight. San Diego is an offense that is boom or bust and busts a lot lately. He blows up far less at home and why not roster two italian’s after dark tonight?

OAKLAND ATHLETICS
Matt Olson – Starling Marte – Jed Lowrie
On one hand it was nice to see the Royals let Jackson Kowar power through his last start after some early struggles but I expect that to lead to a shorter outing tonight and some tinkering with the Royals from their bullpen after him. It presents a very nice under the radar spot for a good Oakland offense. Make sure you consider the middle/low end order batters for value and that should hopefully mean Jed Lowrie tonight.
WASHINGTON NATIONALS
Lane Thomas – Juan Soto – Ryan Zimmerman – Carter Kieboom
Sometimes in September we consider bad offenses and I have been a big fan of Jesus Luzardo but Luzard-NOOOOO tonight. It’s a night we need some value hitting and the lowly Nationals in a warm Nats park should provide the right value.
NEW YORK YANKEES
Luke Voit – Aaron Judge
They will be extremely popular as there’s going to be lots of first timer MLB exposure from anyone who won at NFL over the weekend and a lot of googling for “TOP MLB DFS” free content today. Which lands them upon someone using implied run totals and throwing the Yankees right up at the top.

LINEUP CONSTRUCTION THOUGHTS
Paying up for pitching might feel like the temptation today, but the amount of ownership on Cole for me has me shifting over to Eovaldi there and if we are off Cole then we might as well pivot down to a cheaper mid range SP2. The September motto should remain to have a core stack because offense is going to be down soon.
