Game Script Thoughts
After a wild Sunday Night game the initial temptation is to expect a wild MNF shootout in the desert between the Rams and Cardinals. But the Rams just haven’t been that team and the best path both teams have to winning is through their ground games.
I expect a lower scoring game than the general public probably does tonight. I don’t have a full lean on who wins the game, so just play the under.
Major Update: Tyler Higbee and Jalen Ramsey have been ruled out due to COVID. This brings DeAndre Hopkins into play a lot more than Christian Kirk as he’ll double what I figured he would do without having to draw Ramsey. There are going to be a lot of people trying to hone in on Higbee’s replacements – Kendall Blanton and Brycen Hopkins. Cheap on both and both worth jamming into some lineups.
Captain Plays
James Conner (ARI)
Through the ground with your RB is how you negate Aaron Donald and avoid Jalen Ramsey. While I know Hopkins will get 50+ yards I cannot trust that for his price tag and thus want the reception volume which Conner should get.
If Chase Edmunds is activated then we have likely less ownership on Conner in CAPT spot which I like.
Cooper Kupp (LAR)
With Darrell Henderson ruled out expect a good amount of chalk to Sony Michel, but last week was his spot and this is a good PPR spot for Kupp to have 7-10 catches against the Cardinals.
