Here are my final AMBUSH plays for this weekend’s lack of entertaining football we are about to be embraced with
#1. Ambush Play #1 – Stack the South
Both the AFC and NFC South games offer the best collection of spots today in my mind.
Indianapolis is going to put up 30 points on the Jaguars today and it will come from more than just Jonathan Taylor as Carson Wentz and Michael Pittman connect through the passing game leading to a 30+ point statement game from Indy.
The Titans and Texans game is the one that I am thinking could be the best sneaky back and forth shootout. I once again ask, why are the Titans only favored by 10.5? Look for Houston to hang around long enough in this game which makes AJ Brown even more viable of a pick. Same with D’Onta Foreman
New Orleans and Atlanta is what it is, I covered the Taysom play yesterday and Tampa/Carolina to me has value in it with the Tampa WR not named Mike Evans, but if you want the real pick in that game, its the Tampa Defense.

#2. David Montgomery
There isn’t much more certain thing today for me than David Montgomery will either finish with 5 after an injury or go wild for 35 points. He has been as consistent as they come down the stretch and I would expect nothing else today.

#3. Niners/Rams is not a shootout
Way too much on the line for both teams in this game for me to expect both sides just to lay down on defense. With the news that San Francisco could be going with Jimmy G and having a QB rotation I like the Rams defense even more in this game.

#4. The Ambush Fades

Question – Who is getting overlooked this week and why is it … Alvin Kamara?
I am not being a homer here people. Kamara is going to be less than 10% owned on a Sunday when half the league isnt playing for anything and the Saints are in a must win scenario playing against his home town team. Atlanta has done well vs Kamara historically, but with the Saints having 2 key OL back and Kamara being so low owned, I’m okay with a Taysom-Kamara stack today.
