CORBIN BURNES
You know that meme where the dude is offering you a trade that seems unfair to his favor? Well, how about I give you the field and I receive Corbin Burnes with his 12 strike out game. Burnes has gone 19, 26 and 37 over his last three games.
We jumped on that 26 and had slight consideration for the 37 but now against the Blue Jays I would project him to match it again as he had 10 strikeouts with a 35% called strike whiff rate and this is an even better match-up being that they are a RH heavy lineup.
LANCE LYNN – DK
Another Right on Right scenario as Lance Lynn is also building up to a good start today making his third outing on the season and coming off a 28.3 CSW rate game.
The wind in Chicago will be a non factor on the South Side and my god the White Sox just have to win a game don’t they? I think they do it behind a 7 inning outing from Lynn who is under-priced still due to his late start on the season.
J.T. BRUBAKER – DK/FD
This is a tip of the cap to the model which is banking on Wander Franco being out for one more day and the Rays having the highest DCPA strikeout rate on the board. Brubaker generally isn’t going to produce a ton of whiffs so we are also banking on the Rays lineup just remaining bad against Sinkers which he throws 37% of the time.
Only Ji-Man Choi figures to do any damage off Brubaker.

CARDINALS
Edman, Donovan, Gorman, Carlson
Adrian Sampson has not had much luck in his career with lefties and quietly the Cardinals now have good LHB in their lineup with Donovan and Gorman emerging along with the switch hitting Carlson and Edman. Dare I say, we can stack up the Cardinals without Goldy and Nolan? Yes, yes we can on DraftKings. On FD on the short early slate though I would play Arenado and pray he snaps out of his Saturday slumps.
BREWERS
Yelich, Adames, Renfroe, Caratini, Brosseaux
Of course I am going to attack Yusei Kikuchi, why would I do anything else? He is wild and misses his spots too often and if Hunter Renfroe is back in the lineup today he’ll take him yard, probably along with 3 or 4 other Brewers — INCLUDING Christian Yelich.
PIRATES
Cruz, Suwinski, Reynolds, Vogelbach
I can see the tinkle in your eye as you think about stacking up the Pirates this afternoon.
WHITE SOX
What can I say, I am a sucker … This game comes down to the first AB for Tim Anderson, he should hit a double or homer off a bad cutter from Spenser Watkins. If we get that, game over. If not, it could be a long day.
