The Dongers Club – June 25th

Six game Saturday night slate with Mike Trout in a home game against the Mariners, which I am sure will end well for the Mariners, right?  What could possibly go wrong for them.

WEATHER

No issues.

Reds at Giants – This is an early start in SF (4pm local) and its very cool out there.

LOGAN WEBB

The Reds got a win last night (we cashed it) and tonight we cash the Giants off the arm of Logan Webb.  Webb is sure to be the highest owned pitcher on both sites and there’s no reason for me to bother fading him on DraftKings since you gotta pick two.

After a rough stretch Webb has gone back to back 7 inning starts with 16 total strike outs and is always good for 100+ pitches.

PATRICK SANDOVAL

The Mariners haven’t been white hot of late and I believe we get another Sandoval outing which is good against Seattle.  He had  a good game despite 14 line drives vs them on June 18th going 6 strong and at home should match that tonight.

The other SP in this game is probably going to look tempting for strikeouts but I prefer Sandoval.

Also expect to pitch decent but will not use

Logan Gilbert, Chris Archer

DIAMONDBACKS

Marte, Rojas, Walker, Peralta, Smith

Hey cool, another slate with Alex Faedo and another chance for him to burn me.  We’re starting to see the corner turn though as he has given up 11 ER over his last two starts and a lot of that is due to falling behind in counts.  Arizona is a good team at being patient and so the 4-5-6 part of this lineup could have a HUGE RBI night.

TWINS

Garlick, Kepler, Correa

Max Kepler is a must play for me today.  Everything from Senzatella that he see’s should get hit hard and the return of Kyle Garlick chalk should be in play here too.  Great value in the middle of the lineup

Today’s BOOST+ Players

Very light list tonight, which tells me that everyone should do what you expect them to do normally.

Riley Greene, CJ Abrams, Trayce Thompson

SECOND BASE

If not Ketel Marte as part of a Diamondback stack there are a few one offs here who can have big games.

  1. Luis Arraez – Mr. Always on base against a bad RHP who doesn’t miss bats.
  2. Jake Cronenworth – Grades well in xISO match-up vs Eflin

OUTFIELD – MT RUSHMORE

I don’t think we have to force in Mr. Saturday Night Trout today with Kepler, Peralta and other value guys looking good here, but if you fade him thinking he has a 0-5 game then I wouldn’t be that bold today.  Place a Trout bet or use him.

  3. David Peralta
  4. Mike Trout
