Those on FanDuel will have the Diamondbacks-Rockies game to navigate. It features a match-up between young arms Tommy Henry and Ryan Feltner.
WEATHER
All games play.

Two games today feature top level pitchers for us in DFS with Wheeler vs Bassitt and Bieber vs Gausman being the headline games. Except one of them is more about the teams than the pitchers and I am treating it as such.
CRISTIAN JAVIER
All the obvious reasons here. Oakland’s lineup isn’t good, Javier pitches well at home and he’s priced exactly where he should be. Enjoy the ~2x from Javier. He should not pull one of those massive games out of his hat today but he should be fine.
SHANE BIEBER
This is the game that looks good on paper for pitching and not the Bassitt vs Wheeler one to me. I would like to take Gausman as the home guy against a lineup that many think is worse, but they’re not. Toronto offers lots of K upside that Cleveland doesn’t and Beebs should do that vs them today.
BRADY SINGER
Sunday Sleeper
Go ahead Dodgers, bring out all your lefties. Do it. I dare you. Lets roll Singer. We ride today. I know what you are thinking, after all these Singer starts now I finally hype him up? Well, he is great in day games for one, but really great vs LHB which the Dodgers likely drop 6+ out there today. His strikeout upside can offset a bad inning, plus most of his strikes are called strikes, something the Dodgers are very patient about taking and don’t mind swinging in 2 strike counts. Advantage Singer, our Sunday Sleeper.

OTHER SP NOTES
The other Sunday Sleeper I wanted to write up is Justin Dunn, but I need to see more in the bigs this year before I jump back on my Dunn train at home vs the Cubs who have a couple sure thing homers today IMO.
Logan Gilbert should bounce back for about 4 innings then fall apart.
Braxton Garrett and South Beach Theory is in play today.

REDS
Solano, Votto, Senzel, India
There’s a path for Keegan Thompson getting hit here by a weak Reds lineup. He’s struggled on the road allowing opponents to SLG .525 off him and has given up a good amount of power to RHH as well. Small park, good enough weather and a cheap team who can put up 5+ runs for us.
Cubs are fine as well, although I still like Justin Dunn’s talent long term. Happ/Reyes/Suzuki.
ROYALS
Bobby Witt, Sal Perez, Hunter Dozier
Speaking of cheap and dirty. Welcome to the Law of Averages play of the day. L.A.’s win streak ends today as they got it all out of their system last night and the Royals actually should hit Tyler Anderson believe it or not. No, seriously.
ASTROS
Altuve, Alvarez, Mancini or McCormick, Pena
I need to see the Astros lineup, but Chas McCormick would be a good play if he gets to start again. Cole Irvin is a target allowing 12 HR on the road outside of the canyon home field he plays in and the Houston secondary hitters should compliment Altuve/Yordan strongly today.
PHILLIES vs METS
Alonso, Lindor, Marte … Hoskins, Bohm, Hall, Marsh
After two low scoring games, we get my dream. Citi Field on a home Sunday afternoon 1pm game with 2% ownership on two good HR hitting lineups. Going here means you believe Yin the weather helping the ball carry and thus you should be gamestacking it.

OUTFIELD – Mt. Rushmore
Outfield feels deep but not loaded today. Maybe that is just because there is no Judge and I am not using Mookie vs Singer, but with Atlanta expected to rest Acuna it takes an even bigger hit here.
Ian Happ has made a living crushing the ball in Cincinnati. Of his 97 career homers (he has 97 career homers?!?!?!), 51 have come at home in 1103 PA and 16 have come in Cincy in just 154 PA. I’m no math expert, but I’d say that’s a pretty strong Batter in Ballpark ratio.
The Mets must get strong games from Nimmo and/or Marte today to get to Wheeler. He is probably my favorite all around Met today.
Vaughn and O’Neill are priced reasonably for the power upside they give. I have no lean and they’re ranked right next each other on the model.
- Ian Happ
- Starling Marte
- Andrew Vaughn
- Tyler O’Neill

OUTFIELD – Tier 2

CORE PLAYS
3-2-2-1 Kind of Sunday for lineup construction purposes. The Reds to me offer great value with Senzel and Solano as one of the 2’s.
Shane Bieber is my favorite SP1
Yes, I am using Brady Singer
[spacer height=”10px”]
BETTING PLAYS
Phillies/Mets OVER 7
Cubs/Reds OVER 9
Guardians ML
Royals ML
Brewers/Cardinals OVER 8 … Tough for me to justify this one in DFS but it is the one game which I keep coming back to to play guys in. Adames/O’Neill stood out as one offs.
