Stacks That I Have My Eye On

Below I’ll break down the particular stacks I’m interested and delve into it based on matchup, ability, predicted game script, and collective salary while picking an opposing player or two to run that stack back with if appropriate. *Note: All pricing is DraftKings focused  

Dallas Cowboys (vs. Detroit Lions)

QB Dak Prescott, WR CeeDee Lamb The long-anticipated return of Dak Prescott is finally here as the Cowboys’ offense gets the jolt back that it has needed. Prescott gives a big bump to all of the Dallas pass catchers, especially CeeDee Lamb. Lamb is very affordable at $6,800 and has been seeing a ton of targets, imagine what those targets will look like with Dak back. Detroit’s defense has been one of the worst in the league this season and with Dallas’ offense being led by Dak again, this is a good time to exploit them. Run it Back: WR Amon-Ra St. Brown St. Brown is the main weapon in the passing game for Detroit and he’s back healthy after a nagging ankle injury. The top receiver for the Lions is one of the most heavily targeted receivers per routes run in the NFL and in what looks like a sneaky shootout game, ARSB is a great run back option.

Los Angeles Chargers (vs. Seattle Seahawks)

QB Justin Herbert, RB Austin Ekeler In one of the higher-total games of the week, this one is pretty straightforward. Herbert has played like shit in his last three games; there’s no other way to look at it. This, though, is a good spot for him to boune back against an overachieving Seattle defense. The ‘Hawks just held Arizona to 9 points last week but that was mainly due to the Cardinals struggles in the red zone over and over again. Herbert would more than likely be capitalizing on those opportunities. Ekeler will be used as a pass catcher as usual; he’s seen at least seven targets in four games this season and has been effective on the ground with five rushing touchdowns. You could add in Mike Williams as another option as well. Run it Back: WR Tyler Lockett Lockett has been rock solid in four of his last five games with last week being the outlier. He’s still underpriced at $5,800 in a good matchup and Geno has been looking his way with six or more targets in four of his last five games.
