NFL DFS: The Sunday Stacks – Week 9

Stacks That I Have My Eye On

Below I’ll break down the particular stacks I’m interested and delve into it based on matchup, ability, predicted game script, and collective salary while picking an opposing player or two to run that stack back with if appropriate. *Note: All pricing is DraftKings focused

Cincinnati Bengals (vs. Carolina Panthers)

QB Joe Burrow, WR Tee Higgins, WR Tyler Boyd Cincinnati Bengals Superstars Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins Couldve Been NBA All-Stars With the absence of Ja’Marr Chase the passing game will be funneled through Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd as the Bengals have a lot to prove after last week’s beatdown at the hands of the Browns. Despite a piss poor effort from a scoreboard standpoint last week, Burrow still threw two touchdown passes, one to Higgins and one to Boyd. While Carolina has been playing hard since Matt Rhule’s firing but this feels like a spot at home where the Bengals put up a ton of points. Run it Back: WR D.J. Moore

With the replacement quarterback, P.J. Walker has been finding Moore regularly as he’s targeted D.J. 11 and 10 times each of the last two weeks. Last week was the coming out party of the season for Moore with six receptions for 152 yards and a touchdown. With the Panthers, in my mind coming from behind in this game expect double-digit targets for Moore once again.

Los Angeles Chargers (at Atlanta Falcons)

QB Justin Herbert, WR Joshua Palmer, RB Austin Ekeler The Chargers head to Atlanta with their top two receivers out in Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. Joshua Palmer will assume the top receiver role at the position with Austin Ekeler obviously playing a key role in that department. Atlanta’s secondary is brutal and Palmer is incredibly affordable at $5,100 and will be a trendy play. Run it Back: WR Drake London Mariota should be looking London’s way more and that simply has not been the case as the rookie has seen just 10 targets combined over the last three weeks. At $4,900 in a game with an expected high total London is a good value and a prime run-back play.

Also consider: Minnesota Vikings: QB Kirk Cousins, WR Justin Jefferson. Run Back: WR Terry McLaurin Detroit Lions: QB Jared Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown. Run Back: RB Aaron Jones
