The Slapshot – Jan 12th

NHL DFS – The Slapshot

We have a full dozen games tonight with the Sabres, Kraken and Predators playing a third in four nights and of those three it is Nashville who is playing a 3rd in 4 on B2B against Montreal.

Jets vs Sabres

How do we not get all excited for this one?  Buffalo is one of the better home teams this season and Winnipeg is locked in right now.  Should be a fast paced and high scoring battle.

  • WPG:  Dubois-Connor-Ehlers
  • BUF:   Thompson-Skinner

Hurricanes vs Blue Jackets

Max Pacioretty will play his fourth game tonight with the Hurricanes and so far things haven’t gone great for them in the WIN column.  Carolina has lost four in a row overall and lost 4-3 to Columbus in a SO last Saturday night.  They’re playing some high scoring hockey now as they adjust this top line and I think we’re gonna have a 5-4 type game again tonight.  I just dont know if Kirill Marchenko can drop another hatty for the Blue Jackets but Gaudreau or Laine might

  • CAR:  Aho – Patches – Jarvis
  • CBJ:  Roslovic – Laine – Gaudreau

Avalanche

They’re back?  Not quite.  But the Avs went off late against the Florida Panthers and might have very well had their little wake-up call right before they get a welcome opponent in Chicago who has yielded 5+ goals in 2 of their last 5 and gives up 25%+ success rate to the PP, which Colorado has a PP which is definitely hard not to touch…. I’m talking about the Power Play.  What did you think I was talking about?
