Feels like we have a good amount of value options on the MAIN slate today, so building lineups with that in mind tells us to consider a few pay up studs with ease.
Injury Note to monitor
- Sahvir Wheeler (Kentucky) is Questionable going into their game with Georgia, which is of course a re-match for him against his former team. If he sits then there’s good value with Antonio Reeves. If Wheeler plays then HE is good value as CJ Frederick is also OUT.
GUARDS
- Darin Green – 6300 … Recent usage is good and his production at home is favorable. Florida State is a sneaky upset spot today on a good Pittsburgh team.
- Posh Alexander – 6300 … Another great mid range price point today as the Johnnies and Friars game should have lots of scoring in it with Posh avoiding any type of floor game
- Nelly Cummings – 6200 … Great run it back w/ Green. Has a high DvP rating today and obviously the FSU defense is not great
- Marcus Carr – 8100 … Due for a big game. Overall though I wouldn’t expect this game to shoot to the moon but Carr will get 30+.
- Devin Carter – 8400 … Carter and Bryce Hopkins (G/F) each should be popular enough that we’ll want one of them. It’s a coin toss and I prefer the one who rebounds better on the road which is Hopkins but don’t discount Carter.
FORWARDS
The mid range on FWD is a little thinner, so this is where you should pay up more.
- Johni Broome – 8900 … Excellent atmosphere building up for Bama vs Auburn as it’s clearly the game of the day today. Broome should show out and I wouldn’t be shocked if he went for 50.
- Bryce Hopkins – 8400 … As mentioned above his rebounding upside along with 22.5% shot rate over last four weeks is preferred. Ed Croswell is another, cheaper option here though as pairing Broome and Hopkins together is tough today.

- Jacob Toppin – 7400
- Donta Scott – 7100

It’s deep with options but none are must picks. I think you can get a little contrarian/creative here.
