CBB DFS: The ONIONS – March 10th – Night

These might be some of the best match-ups we have seen all season and I pitty the fool who says these games don’t matter for some teams.  Trust me, the players and coaches want to win the conference tournament even if they are locked into the big dance.

Arkansas vs Texas A&M, O/U:  137.5

The Aggies are the ones getting the tempo boost which really is the justification for paying 7k+ for Tyrce Radford and 8700 for Wade Taylor.  In a tempo boost spot I would look at Dexter Dennis for the Aggies paired with Radford in stacks and run it back with Anthony Black/Davonte Davis for Arkansas.

  • ARK:  Black, Davis
  • A&M:  Radford, Dennis, Marble

Duke vs Miami, O/U: 145.5

Roach.  Miller.   Me settling in at the bar around the corner from where they hooped when they were kids.  Lets go!

  • MIAMI:  Jordan Miller
  • DUKE:  Jeremy Roach

Arizona vs Arizona State, O/U: 154

The Pac-12 is most definitely back to their tradition of conference play without defense and lots of possessions.

  • ASU:  DJ Horne (6400)
  • AZ:  Courtney Ramey (6800)

Creighton vs Xavier, O/U:  152.5

Prefer this one for offense of the Big East games.

  • Creighton:  Ryan Nembhard (7200)
  • Xavier:  Jerome Hunter (6100), Adam Kunkel (6300)

Quick thoughts on other games …

UCONN vs Marquette

Marquette looked horrible for most of the game yesterday outside of one 5-10 minute stretch and UCONN looked terrific yesterday outside of one 5-10 minute stretch.  This is why I will be going opposite today and banking on Marquette to play better out of the gate even though I cannot stand Shaka Smart.

TCU vs Texas

Texas is more talented but TCU looks more determined.  They looked fantastic against Kansas State and probably wind up winning this tourney if they get past Texas today.
