Today and tomorrow, the forgotten but arguably best days of the tournament. For DFS it cuts down to just an 8 game slate which really breaks things up nicely as well and also reduces some of the blowout chalk spots… Or does it?
My first glance on the Saturday slate was a pretty convincing opinion on six of the eight games with a quick trigger on the other two as well, which isn’t shocking to me since we did very well on the Thursday slate of games, so lets keep the heater on these wings of the brackets going.
Princeton vs Missouri
By about 9 points this one is the highest total on the board today. So expect lots of ownership off this game if you are one who plays the ownership game. Missouri was lucky to get by my Utah State Aggies who just mailed it in during their final 5 minutes on Thursday, but no discredit to Mizzou who has played really well and has the two best players on the court today in Hodge and Brown.
Princeton can hang though and if they’re shooting well likely will have the lead going into the second half.

Arkansas vs Kansas
Arkansas advanced on Thursday but really did not look themselves. I believe they will today and we’ve seen this season that teams with strong guard play can give Kansas a little bit of a scare at times. So Council, Black, Smith and Davis are all going to be able to do damage here but in the end they lack that true dominant PG to beat Kansas.
In a close game, and an up tempo one, Jalen Wilson should shine for Kansas which makes him worth every DFS penny.

Key Three
G: Ryan Langborg – Princeton – $6,200
Four guys on Princeton are taking 35+ minutes per game which should continue as players do not get tired in the tournament due to the long TV timeouts. Langborg just needs the shot attempts as he takes 6+ three’s per game and Missouri is a generous opponent defending the 3. He’s coming off a poor shooting performance Thursday going 0-6 from long distance but a bounce back here should not be ignored.
F: Jalen Wilson – Kansas – $9,400
With less value fitting in Wilson can look daunting, but he’s the clear #1 to pay up for in my mind today.
Value – Tyrese Hunter – Texas – $4,900
Nobody is going to look ‘great’ on the value spot today, but there’s reason to pay up for other guys, so if you can find a comfortable 3x-4x cheap guy you take it. Hunter has that potential.

- D’Moi Hodge – Mizzou – 8600 … Hodge was the chalky Tiger in their first game while we rode Kobe. They both did fine and probably both do fine here today as well, but it’s Hodge who has a clear DVP matchup advantage based on our model.
