I see no major issues with regards to precip.

  • Wind blowing out to LF in Wrigley for the Pirates/Cubs
  • Wind blowing out to LF in Kauffman for the Guardians/Royals
  • CHASE FIELD ROOF IS OPEN

 

My top options today:

  1. Blake Snell (DK: $10,600, FD: $11,300)… There are some who think the Padres are technically still alive and as someone who believed in them at one point, I want no part of that witchcraft.  But Blake Snell for the Cy Young definitely is strong and he’s going to continue to pitch well against Colorado, and if he doesnt, then he should be excluded from the ballot.  Yes, fellow candidate Spencer Strider is going as well and he dominated Philly last week — which is exactly why you DO NOT use Strider tonight.
  2. Yusei Kikuchi (DK: $8700, FD: $9700) … Death. Taxes.  Kikuchi throwing a GEM vs the Yankees
  3. Ryan Pepiot (DK: $9100, FD: $9900)

 

Other pitching thoughts

  • Drew Berrymore … (a.k.a Drew RomCom) … Best value dart.
  • Jackson Rutledge (DK: $5500) might look tempting vs the White Sox, and he did throw 90 pitches vs the Pirates on 9.13, but I wouldn’t trust it here tonight.

 

Top games/teams today:

  1. Guardians (Naylor/Calhoun/Kwan) … Royals will bring up RHP Steven Cruz tonight to open for Alec Marsh, who Cleveland beat up earlier this year and the R-R combo tonight should be just appetizing for the Guardians.
  2. Diamondbacks (Marte-Gurriel-Walker) … Roof is open, load up on Chase Field folks.
  3. Pirates/Cubs (Reynolds / Morel-Suzuki) … Monitor the wind close to game time.  If it looks like it’s staying 10+ mph and out to LF then we definitely buy into this game even though it’s not your summer time 80-90 degree temps.

  1. Jack Suwinski / Bryan Reynolds … $1800 difference is a big deal, but Reynolds the ‘better’ play if you will.
