Below I’ll break down the particular stacks I’m interested and delve into it based on matchup, ability, predicted game script, and collective salary while picking an opposing player or two to run that stack back with if appropriate.*Note: All pricing is DraftKings focused
New Orleans Saints vs. Chicago Bears
QB Derek Carr, RB Alvin Kamara, WR Michael Thomas
No running back has seen close to the target share that Alvin Kamara has to this point and the total targets, and that’s with missing three games. Over the past three games Kamara has five, 14, and eight targets to go along with 17, 17, and 19 carries. The volume alone makes AK41 a more than viable DFS play and thus tagging him with Derek Carr makes sense. Carr has hit over 300 passing yards in each of his last three games eclipsing 20 DK points each time. Michael Thomas draws a great matchup against the Bears’ cornerback (more than likely) Tyrique Stevenson with Jaylon Johnson focused on Chris Olave. Now, Olave’s ownership will be low and the upside is always there but in this case I prefer Thomas. Stevenson has seen 64 targets his way and on those targets has allowed 45 receptions (over five per game), a 124.6 passer rating, and six touchdowns. Thomas has seen seven, seven, eight, and seven targets in his last four games and is priced at just $4,700.

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles
QB Dak Prescott, WR CeeDee Lamb
Even with the Eagles’ perceived stout defense I’m looking to attack them this week with the Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb combination which went off last week. Some would say this is point chasing but when you look into the matchup it is in fact one to exploit. The Eagles have allowed 16 passing touchdowns this season and Dak tore them up last season in both matchups and comes into this game averaging 7.4 yards per passing attempt which ranks in the top-10 in the NFL. Lamb will draw a matchup in the slot against an Eagles secondary who are on their sixth of seventh slot corner this season and the top target for Dak is coming off his best game of the season. Lamb combined for 21 targets, 15 receptions, and 188 yards.
Run it Back: WR A.J. Brown
There isn’t much that can be said for A.J. Brown who’s on a historic pace with 125+ receiving yards in six straight games. Over that span Brown has five touchdowns as well and is clearly the top option for Jalen Hurts. In what projects to be one of the highest scoring games of the weekend, Brown looks great as a stand alone play or a run back that will pay off his salary.
