Stacks That I Have My Eye On
Below I’ll break down the particular stacks I’m interested and delve into it based on matchup, ability, predicted game script, and collective salary while picking an opposing player or two to run that stack back with if appropriate.

San Francisco 49ers at Washington Commanders
QB Brock Purdy, RB Christian McCaffrey, WR Brandon Aiyuk
While this stack may be a bit pricey with CMC and Aiyuk, we’re getting a significant discount with Brock Purdy on DK priced as the eighth-highest quarterback. The Commanders’ defense has been a sieve all season and with the 49ers heavy favorites, this core from San Fran should get out to a big lead. Deebo Samuel ($7,700), I wouldn’t argue.
Run it Back: WR Terry McLaurin
The main playmaker for Washington is Mclaurin and ideally the Commanders will have to be throwing the ball for much of the second half. At just $5,500 McLaurin has seen double-digit targets in two of his last four games. McLaurin leads Washington in receptions, targets, and receiving yards this season.
Houston Texans vs. Tennesee Titans
QB C.J. Stroud, WR Nico Collins, TE Dalton Schultz
Stroud is criminally underpriced at $7,100 against one of the worst secondaries in football. Returning after an absense due to a concussion, Stroud will be a bit short as far as his weapons go. One of the beneficiaries of Tank Dell being out will be Dalton Schultz in my mind. Schultz saw 11 targets last week and in this matchup two weeks ago saw four receptions for 58 yards. With improved quarterback play, I expect even more production from the tight end. Nico Collins will be the main threat here for Houston and returned last week after missing the first matchup against this Titans team. Collins will also benefit from Dell being out as his target share will surely increase. The key here is Stroud being able to throw with a clean pocket. With Houston’s improved O-line and the Titans’ lack of pass rush I expect Stroud to be able to maneuver easily.
Run it Back: WR Deandre Hopkins
Hopkins will be looking to avenge his last two games which have been lacking with one of those performances coming against his former team. For the Titans to move the ball through the air, Hopkins will need to be a factor for Ryan Tannehill who replaces an injured Will Levis.
