For the first time in forever, last weekend was an enjoyable NFL weekend for viewing purposes. This week, well, lets see if they can pull something out of their butts because I cannot find any interest in these games today. But maybe that leads us to some trap and sneaky let down spots before going into a “mini” holiday weekend?
A few things of notes on the games that stands out to me…. Consider this, the Ambush thoughts of the week.
#1… The Vikings are playing their third straight road game, having won both of the prior two. The Bears are playing their third straight HOME game having lost the prior two. These are both individually system plays for me because teams playing three consecutive games at home or on the road do not go 3-0 and they do not go 0-3 in either scenario. The fact that they are aligning up together and the way Caleb Williams played better last week and Sam Darnold has struggled of late makes this even more of a system play that your stomach won’t love but your brain knows is the right play.

#2… Look at all these nice divisional games this weekend. MIN/CHI, NE/MIA, TEN/HOU, DEN/LV, ARI/SEA, DAL/WSH…. Wait a minute. They all really suck. Each game has a shitty team in it, except for one in the Cardinals/Seahawks. Logically, I say this is where we find our upsets this week, but I already identified one in the Bears as a slight home dog (+3). Of the others, only Denver/Las Vegas and New England/Miami are re-matches from prior season games. Somehow Miami won the first game in New England and Denver beat the Raiders. Both are not repeating that today…
- Give me the Raiders ML
#3… Lions and Chiefs. It’s all about the Lions and Chiefs. Will the Lions ever have a true let down game? This sure does smell like a spot before Thanksgiving, but we know how damn good Goff has been in a dome. Will the Chiefs lose two in a row? Haha. No. But this slate should all be focused on those two teams first. How much of them is anchoring your lineup and where are you taking on that chalk.
- The Lions defense could slip up this week. Losing Alex Anzalone will hurt them, but maybe not as much today against Anthony Richardson. But if you want to beat Detroit, you gotta run on them.
- The Chiefs are going to go into Carolina and take care of business. Don’t sleep on their defense.

Absolutely HATE every Quarterback this week….
- Caleb Williams (DK: $5100, FD: $7000) … It’s now or never. The stars are more than aligned.
- Anthony Richardson (DK: $5600, FD: $7500) … Like I said – QB stinks this week.
Scheme this, scheme that. I know that everyone might say CMC is the must own pick today, but you’re safe from him breaking the slate, I can promise you that.
- Brian Robinson (DK: $5600, FD: $7900) … He is scoring, he is cheap and he is the same play as Kareem Hunt today.
- Kareem Hunt (DK: $5700, FD: $7500) … Saying he is a bad play, even at 50% ownership, would be naive. He is not a bad play, even on a slate where there’s a ton of value at RB
- Bucky Irving (DK: $5300, FD: $6800) … He is better than Rachaad White. Hopefully Tampa remembers this and gives him 2/3 of the touches.

- Tyreek Hill (DK: $7200, FD: $8300) … While I sit here and drink my coffee, I just have this vision of Tyreek Hill running around Sunny Miami in his white Dolphins uniform, grabbing his crotch, impregnating four more women and carrying on the tradition of a player who is known as T. Hill scoring touchdowns today.
- Nico Collins (DK: $7600, FD: $8900)
- Rome Odunze (DK: $4800, FD: $5400) … Two things happen consistently in the NFL around thanksgiving when it comes to rookies. The ones who came out on fire hit a wall, and the ones who struggled start to turn it on. Odunze and Caleb are going to have a slate breaking week down the stretch and I’ll try to be early on that bus if I can.
- Courtland Sutton (DK: $5800, FD: $7100)

- Sam LaPorta (DK: $4300, FD :$6800)
- Brock Bowers (DK: $6300, FD: $7500)

- Chiefs (DK: $3900, FD: $4900)
- Buccaneers (DK: $3300, FD: $4400)
