Slate Thoughts …
- Cold weather in Pittsburgh as we should expect but there is not likely to be a White Christmas on the field in this one as the snow should be gone and at most we might just get flurries or rain showers.
- The obvious builds today should be centered around Baltimore at Houston in what is a controlled environment with two offenses (and defenses) we can trust to allow for high scoring. My read on both games is that you get what you see and that would be an over in Houston and an under in Pittsburgh — with a lean on both teams who lost on Saturday covering at minimum if not outright winning today…. (… That’s Houston and Pittsburgh obviously)
- The stars will shine the most today. I feel this has been historically the trend on Christmas Day NFL slates when they do occur and so I lean there with the CORE on builds. The easiest path to saving money for that flexibility is to play 2 TE today or just punt WR3 with your value there. Overall, after Nico Collins, most WR are in the mid range anyways.
- Don’t be afraid of putting D/ST in same lineup with offensive skill players from the other side.

Up to the top or down to the bottom. No reason to use Mahomes IMO and CJ Stroud is viable but Wilson is your value low owned play who can throw 2 TD and do just fine if Lamar doesn’t go off.
