Sorry to the cheap Quarterback club, but this is not your week for participation. This week belongs to the proven Quarterbacks and the guys who are proving to be at the top the next few seasons.
Lamar Jackson (DK: $6800, FD: $9000) … A much heavier lean on Lamar on DraftKings than FD based on pricing gaps, but Lamar is light years ahead of any other player in DFS / betting for me this fine Sunday. Left for dead a few weeks ago, the Ravens are suddenly staring down the path of winning 3 in a row today with the Browns, Jets and Bengals looming on their schedule. A healthy Lamar and a determined mindset of saying screw you guys, I’ll do it myself. He’s going to go off.
Matt Stafford (DK: $6500, FD: $8000) … Definitely 1b behind Lamar, and the preferred FD Option. The Rams will win today to split the series with the Niners. Stafford throws 3 TD and 280+ yards, like he seems to do every week now.
RB is a cesspool this week, unlike Quarterback… Lots of mid level guys, so just get in the box and be happy.
De’Von Achane (DK: $7400, FD: $8500) … Buffalo does not and cannot stop the run. Every week, they are a funnel to the RB having a big run or two and Achane is at the top of the list of guys you wanna see bust one off… Wait, that, uh, that came out wrong. Okay, moving along now.
Quinshon Judkins (DK: $6500, FD: $7600)
James Cook (DK: $7500, FD: $9200) … Not sure I’ll end up eating the full price pay up here on Cook, as I think this is a sneaky Ray Davis anytime touchdown vulture spot. The Phins rush defense though is always an easy target.
Rico Dowdle (DK: $6300, FD: $8000) … DK price is hard to ignore as he is your chalky RB today. There’s an easy 12-14 FPTS path here.
EXPECT TO SCORE
- Aaron Jones / Jordan Mason: Too much confusion here to use them in DFS, but the Vikings production will come through the ground.

Paying up for Nacua is somehow possible today if you punt a couple spots elsewhere, but I feel like you do that only if you have Stafford too because Nacua needs 2 (he could get 3) and thus you’ll want the correlation. He’s #1, but not far enough that he is a must.
- Puka Nacua (DK: $8700, FD: $9900)
- Nico Collins (DK: $6700, FD: $8000) … The backup QB experience is going to go early and often to the #1 WR
- Zay Flowers (DK: $5900, FD: $7100)
- Rome Odunza (DK: $6000, FD: $7600)
GOOD VALUE
Really like this section of guys today.
- Brandin Cooks (DK: $3400, FD: $4800) … He scores. Book it.
- DeMario Douglas (DK: $4000, FD: $5600)
- Keon Coleman (DK: $4400, FD: $5100)
This is a pretty bleak position as well (like RB), and thus the temptation for me is … well, you know the temptation is always #TaysomTime. Hard to think the Saints just go full Taysom this week though and the Panthers are usually better at home on defense vs the run, so I like these three a little more.
