The AMBUSH – Wild Card

  1. JOSH ALLEN (DK: $7000) – The main reason I like Josh Allen is because he is fucking awesome.  But really the big play here is we have to think this is the best game on the slate even though the whole world also thinks the same thing.  There’s a reason for that.  Because, it is.  Buffalo’s defense funnels everything towards the run for the Jaguars and that can kill the flow a little bit with a few less possessions as they make the Jags take their time, but the real upside for Allen is with his legs scrambling.  A QB in the playoffs on the road who is elite to me is always an upside play.  His shoulders (and legs) are where they put things when it gets challenging & there’s no reason for him to not be feeling better after a week off.
  2. JALEN HURTS (DK: $6300) – The biggest shock of the season would be Philly’s offense suddenly morphing into a better play calling scheme than what it has been all season.  That’s not gonna happen.  What can happen though is they just simply say, okay, can someone out there make a play for us?  It’s gonna be heavy on Barkley and Hurts to do that this week and any future weeks if they are fortunate enough to win here (I think they will be).

RB is probably the worst “lock” position here just because we have a ton of 2-RB teams to pick from.  But it’s also the deepest.

  1. TRAVIS ETIENNE (DK: $6600, FD: $7500) – 75 yards rushing and a touchdown.  For $6600.  Its not sexy.  It works.
  2. D’ANDRE SWIFT (DK: $5700, FD: $6400) – Game sets up to be more of a Monongai game script, however the Swift veteran presence likely gets him the valuable drives.  Chicago has seemed to use one an entire drive at times this year & so when it matters I think we get Swift in the end zone
  3. SAQUON BARKLEY (DK: $7000, FD: $8500)
  4. KYREN WILLIAMS (DK: $6400, FD: $7900)

  1. QUINTON JOHNSTON / LADD McCONKEY – Love both.  Ladd is the guy who should have the bigger all around state game, but one big Quentin Johnston TD is likely here.  So Ladd gets the catches & yards, Q gets the touchdown.  Fine with pairing both with Herbert in a game stack too
  2. DAVANTE ADAMS (DK: $6500, FD: $8000) – Back and ready to catch a ton of 1 yard touchdowns
  3. PARKER WASHINGTON (DK: $5000, FD: $6900)

ALSO DONT MIND

  1. Gabe Davis – A little revenge yes, but really I think Davis looked good back in Buffalo & he doesn’t have to be the guy at all for them.  One big play is coming and its gonna be him.
  2. Jalen Coker
  3. Luther Burden
  4. Kayshon Boutte – He is questionable as of now, however I think he will give it a go

Death.  Taxes.  Two TE lineups winning in the playoffs.  And the first game out of the gate (shoot, both Saturday games) are deep at the TE position.  Parkinson/Higbee are going to be a nightmare for the Panthers, doing both just enough to get you excited, but not enough to dominate the slate.  Loveland might be the best TE in the playoffs and is on fire with Caleb Williams of late as well.  I like all three, but not as much as these

  1. DALTON KINKAID (DK: $3800, FD: $5100) – Just an insanely low price on Kincaid.
  2. DALTON SCHULTZ (DK: $4000, FD: $5200) – Nico Collins is too expensive in what won’t be a shootout.
  3. HUNTER HENRY (DK: $4500, FD: $5500) – Bigger boost if Boutte sits

  1. BEARS – Sorry, but Jordan Love and the Packers passing game hasn’t had any consistency and now you wanna go on the road in Chicago in the playoffs and stack them?  Chicago’s defense scores tonight.
  2. TEXANS
  3. EAGLES:  San Francisco to me is not going to be able to suddenly get healthy and turn it on.  The loss to Seattle was their nail and thus we either ride the Eagles or you disagree and you should load up on Purdy-CMC-Jennings.  Eagles should get a few sacks on Purdy
