Very quick breakdown for today’s games.
PATRIOTS at BRONCOS
I’m locked in on Denver and have been ever since the news came out that Bo Nix would be out. I loved initially that it was a +5.5 line as that has been the money line for dogs all season, but the public is catching on to the Broncos being the better defense, the better all around team and Sean Payton being a master at having to get his team ready to win one crisis game.
This isn’t just winning when your starting QB goes down suddenly (well documented he is good in that scenario). This isn’t just having to win a big game at home to go to the Super Bowl (he is the worst call in pro sports away from being 2-0 in that regard). This is also years of scenarios where his team is playing on a disadvantage spot, like Hurricane crisis and having to play in other stadiums and against unique circumstances. The spots when Payton falters is when everything is calm and normal. The Broncos are the play for me.
DFS / Betting Prop Plays
- QB: Neither. Going to the next game for the QB. But yes, Stidham will play well.
- RB: RJ Harvey is obvious, but Jaleel McLaughlin is the DFS option here, you’ll want him in 3 RB lineups and I would play him NOT with Harvey
- WR: DeMario Douglas, Courtland Sutton’s over receiving props
- TE: Evan Engram
- D/ST: Broncos D/ST – I think they score on special teams
RAMS at SEAHAWKS
This should be the better back and forth game simply because McVay-Stafford-Rams Defense is going to not pucker up in Seattle. I just don’t see them letting the Seattle home dominance take over the way it would against almost every other team who would go into this spot.
My lean is the Rams, my strong play is on the over 45.5
