MAX MEYER (DK: $9900) His rating (which is like a projection, yes) for us today is lower than it is expected. The strikeouts could be low today vs the Giants, so I’m bumping him down for that reason, but he is still the top arm on the slate — even with Sale being an option. NATE EOVALDI (DK: $9300) No clue what the hell that was from deGrom last night, but maybe the Padres just hit slams in Texas. Eovaldi’s risk is that San Diego basically just sits dead red. His advantage is that I still think they just suck. Eovaldi scratched and MacKenzie Gore bumped up today. Obviously Gore is facing the team who originally brought him up, and obviously I love the guy, so yeah, I like him but I am definitely conflicted here. WILL BE OKAY TOO I probably like too many pitchers for a Saturday afternoon slate today, but both Chris Sale and Kyle Harrison are likely to do just fine for you, yet I want neither because I think both have long innings & the game gets into two good bullpens.
