- Fairways are wide but roll so some good shots will get to the rough
NOTE: This is a 156-player field. Top 60 and ties make the cut!! This will be a brutal cut this week so don’t feel bad if you don’t get 6/6. Many times, 5/6 can cash in a large GPP and can win some of the single-entry contests. DK priced guys in the $5K range but I’m staying away from that.

$10,000 and Above
- Scottie “Lock and Load” Scheffler ($14,900) – Damn! The pricing is nuts! Is Scottie really $2,700 more valuable than Rory? Not sure I can justify that. I may be wrong and Scottie may win, but I’m mostly fading. It’s tempting because at $7,000 per remaining players, you can get the likes of Jordan Spieth, Sepp Straka, Shane Lowry, etc. But, they will need to play well. OK, maybe one lineup with Scottie.

- Xander Schauffele ($10,100)
- Rory McIlroy ($12,200)
Rest of the 5-digit field (in order of my preference):
- Cameron Young ($10,500)
- John Rahm ($11,500)
- Bryson DeChambeau ($11,000)
$8,000 to $9,900 (Ranking all the guys in my order of preference)
- Matthew Fitzpatrick ($8,900)
- Tommy Fleetwood ($9,900)
- Tyrrell Hatton ($8,700) – Bulldog!
- Collin Morikawa ($8,500) – Last five U. S. Opens: T23-T14-T14-T5-T4.
- Ludvig Aberg ($9,200) – Only played in two and MC’d last year. T12 the year before. Love the game, just not sure he’s figured out Open layouts.
- Justin Thomas ($8,300) – low price for the talent and he is playing much better this year than the last couple. However, three straight MCs at the US Open bothers me a little.
- Brooks Koepka ($9,400) – Won here in 2018 but I don’t trust the left wrist/arm issue that caused him to withdraw last week. If he plays, he has a chance but he has to be able to finish or the price isn’t worth it!
$7,000 to $7,900 (Why you can use Scottie if you want!)
- SAM BURNS ($7,700) – YES, I CAPITALIZED THIS ONE FOR A REASON!!! Top 10 at last two US Opens. Cut-making monster this season! LOCK AND LOAD for HALF of Scottie’s price!
- Si Woo Kim ($7,200) – consistent but has struggled with strong finishes at the US Open.
- Patrick Cantlay ($7,300) – this guy has to break through at some point! It could be this year and, at this price, it is certainly worth the risk!
- Wyndham Clark ($7,800) – playing as well as anyone in the field right now and this is an EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD PRICE!!
- Shane Lowry ($7,100)
- J. J. Spaun ($7,500) – defending champion but I’m not trusting him as much as I probably should. He has four Top 15s in his last five tournaments so….
$6,000 to $6,900
Typically, with DraftKings, this is where it becomes feasible for you to use Scottie, but I don’t think you necessarily need to go this low. Howver, you can, and that gives you a little more wiggle room – even if you only use one or two in this range. They’ve loaded this Tier with viable plays. Most won’t win, but someone has to finish Top 20 and, in this range, Top 20 is awesome! Use your own gut, but I’m trying to stick with the following if I go down this far:

- Alex Fitzpatrick ($6,600)
