Happy Monday!
They just couldn’t give us a full 15 game slate to kick off the new week and the Twins Lefties in Cleveland is the spot we are missing out on tonight….
WEATHER
I declare that all games will play on this fine Monday. Storms in Chicago and a few other spots, but ultimately mother nature shall let us be.

Jacob deGrom (DK: $10,000)
Chicago’s more fragile offensively away from Comiskey. We should see a strong outing from deGrom and push 9+ strikeouts from the veteran. There’s always risk with him and the price honestly is inflated based off name, but I trust him more than anyone else on the field today.
Ryan Weathers (DK: $7600) & Braxton Ashcraft (DK: $9200)
Ashcraft is having the type of season that I can see him getting lit up after his all-star appearance because it throws off the rythym and he got a ton of praise while there. But the Yankees are bad on offense so I don’t think he gets torched too bad. Weathers is easily the better point per $ play
George Kirby (DK: $9400)
Seattle at home hasn’t fully applied to Kirby – but let the Reds come in and fix that. While I’m still on them for the second half and being better, they’re fine to pick on here coming out of Coors Field and going into the pitcher friendly Seattle.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
- Hell no on Jose Soriano. That ship is done and sailed.
- Michael Wacha can be good for 3-4 innings, that’s the max, then implosion happens.
- Not using Cease, I dont fuck with the Rays when they’re in need of a win and also when in Toronto. They love it up there.
- Sanchez shows up and actually pitches well here, but not well enough.

Sorry, but I love a bunch of spots today. However, no, I am not going to the 100 degree Giants/Royals 2014 World Series re-match series. You can go ahead and do that on your own.
TIGERS
Oh, hi there Jameson Taillon. So nice to see you on this fine Monday. The field might jump here as well given the Wrigley Weather trendies jumping on wind blowing out, and I always like when its an interleague spot as well.

ATHLETICS vs DIAMONDBACKS
Bad lefties, bad pens. Wish the roof was open.
- ATH: Shea Langeliers, Colby Thomas
- ZONA: Geraldo Perdomo, Ketel Marte
RED SOX
Dont stop until they stop. The battle of two teams putting together some win streaks should be a fun series until you realize that Baltimore’s bullpen cannot sustain their recent success and Willson Contreras is probably going to continue going on massive heaters.

THE SLEEPER FIREWORKS GAME
- Mets at Brewers: Run, do not walk, run, to hit the over on this game. Is it enough to say this wins some MME tournament tonight with a 2% owned stack on both sides? Probably not. And by 2% owned I dont mean the avg, I mean literally combine everyone and you get 2%. But you have Peralta back in Milwaukee to get torched by his former catcher & you have Francisco Lindor suddenly trying and in a park he does decent in. The Mets will get to Misiorowski, just not enough to offset the 8 runs that Peralta gives up.

CATCHER
- William Contreras … If you know, you know.
- Shea Bangaliers
- Alejandro Kirk

FIRST BASE
- Jonathan Aranda … Mr. Toronto

SECOND BASE
This is a terrible spot today – even with 14 games out there for us. But holy fuck I love two guys. Miguel Rojas and Brice Turang.

OUTFIELD – TIER II
- Seiya Suzuki … I always say that Suzuki is one of the most streaky hitters in the game. He’s actually riding an 8 game hitting streak back to July 8th, but has just 2 homers in that stretch which were at the beginning of the streak. The doubles are there, and the contact is good but he is 0-8 lifetime against Jack with 6 strikeouts & the match-up makes sense for those BvP results. All that aside, if he gets into the pen and the fact that the guy loves him some Pittsburgh (coming up later this week) points to him going on another homer binge very soon.
