Golf is still going on! We are back in our own part of the world now after a week off and this will be a normal cut event.
Downsides to Fall golf:
- NFL/NHL/NBA are all going on
- Many of top names are in hibernation (especially if they’ve already secured their 2023-24 card)
- Contests are trash
Upsides:
- Few pay attention to PGA so the MME people are focused on the “N”s noted above
- We get to see some new guys play
Highlights: El Caronal at Diamante (Tiger’s first design)
- Par 72 – 7,452 yards
- Large fairways and greens
- Paspalum (fast) grass in the fairways
- Coastal course so wind can be a factor
Since we have minimal interest, we will get minimalized articles. Still what most of you want to see – without my narcissistic input.
