Notre Dame (-11) at Howard

Two very bad defenses square off, but don’t sleep on the Howard Bison on the offensive end of the floor, I think they can keep up in this game.

For Notre Dame, either Hubb or Wesley will finish with a boost due to the weaker defense, my lineup construction feeling is to lean with Hubb at 4800.

ND:

Howard:

Purdue vs Illinois (-2)

Illinois is playing better than I expected right now, they’re defending well on the perimeter and trending in a better direction than Purdue overall.  But this game is going to be a joy to watch because of the big men inside.  Kofi vs Edey is one thing, but if we can get Trevion Williams playing heavy minutes again here today then that would be good for the viewership as well.

I personally think that this is a tough game to try and stack in DFS but Jaden Ivey is going to have to come up with a big game.  At 8200 I would be shocked if he went over 4x today but even more shocked if he didn’t get to 4x.  His floor to me is perfect here.

Trayce Jackson-Davis – Indiana (9400)

Nobody on the Nebraska roster looks like someone that I would trust to limit TJD.  His wing man Race Thompson to me is more of a home floor player, so on the road lock in on TJD.

Steve Settle – Howard (5500)

Settle could wind up being the slate breaker today.  Tall lean player who should be able to go over 20 points easily.

Prentiss Hubb – Notre Dame (4800)

The Irish will be very popular today with Goodwin/Wesley/Atkinson/Laszewski for sure being popular considerations, however Hubb has been playing way better than someone who should be $4800 and playing 35 minutes per game over the last 5 games while facing a fast and bad defense today he should be a no doubt chalky value play.

Paxon Wojcik – Brown (5100)

The Brown Bears play a fairly limited rotation and Wojcik is tops on the team for the season in minutes while taking 4+ three’s per game.  The Yale defense ranks poorly against 3PT defense and poorly on the boards as well, so given the minutes he should see I like him at this price even in a slow tempo game.

• Riley Battin – Utah … PF/Stretch 4 have done well vs Arizona State.  Good value play who gets his workload off the glass in limited minutes.  Not much upside here, but fairly safe floor.
