There are a ton of high quality match-ups which are also on this DFS slate today, it’s a great afternoon for College Basketball.
Every single one of these “Target” games to me are the same today.
Seton Hall (-2.5) at St. John’s
Jared Rhoden is a must play for me today. He’ll bounce back after a quiet game vs Marquette and between him and Bryce Aiken that should be the bulk of Seton Hall’s deep ball production today. Alexis Yetna has come on of late and is a very talented player who is alternating big games with Rhoden right now, you can play both but definitively need one.
- Jared Rhoden – Seton Hall / Alexis Yetna – Seton Hall
- Bryce Aiken – Seton Hall
- Julian Champagnie – St Johns

Kentucky at Auburn (-3.5)
This is our marquee game today and Auburn is most definitely going to show up on their home court against Kentucky. The Wildcats guards are going to have to do the damage in a game where both teams are likely going to play fast and play tight defense. So I would lean more on the mid range or value players.
Although Jabari Smith at $7600 is going to be a mighty tempting Onions! play. Don’t go too heavy on both sides, just 1:1.
- Sahvir Wheeler – 7000 – Kentucky
- Davion Mintz – 4400 – Kentucky
- Jabari Smith – 7600 – Auburn
- KD Johnson – 6100 – Auburn
- Allen Flanigan – 4400 – Auburn

Florida State at Miami (-2.5)
Three of the CORE players on Miami are all 7400 or more and with the way they balance things out it’s very difficult to lock in on any one of those guys as a must own but they’re all likely to do well enough. FSU is not great defending the 3 point line which is where they like to live as well, so I see Miami winning this game at home with good three point shooting.
Malik Osborne (ankle) is expected to return today after resting in their last game. He would be critical for FSU to exploit a soft interior for Miami.
- Isaiah Wong – 7400 – Miami
- Malik Osborne – 6700 – Florida State

Syracuse at Duke (-11.5)
Dumb and Dumber meeting up one more time. Personally I don’t love this game that much but the defense for Syracuse isn’t likely to flip a switch and slow down Duke who has length to exploit their zone but lacks the dominant 3 point shooter to really blow them out.
- Joseph Girard – 6500 – Syracuse
- Paolo Banchero – 9500 – Duke
- Jeremy Roach – 4100 – Duke

Also Target:
- Villanova, Florida (value), Virginia Tech (Value)
Avoid:
- Rutgers, Minnesota, Boston College, WVU, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma

HIGH END
Jared Rhoden – Seton Hall
Paolo Banchero – Duke
Isaiah Wong – Miami
Jabari Smith – Auburn
Alexis Yetna – Seton Hall
Justin Moore – Villanova
[spacer height=”20px”]
MID RANGE
Bryce Aiken – Seton Hall
KD Johnson – Auburn
Malik Osborne – Florida State – Questionable
Joseph Girard – Syracuse

VALUE
The Florida Gators are banged up and with that comes some cheap options getting decent minutes. Most notably Anthony Duruji and Tyree Appleby are two guys who have performed before that are most likely to do well. Myreon Jones is tempting because of his high 3 point volume but he’s really not a good player.
Jeremy Roach – Duke
Roach needs to shoot at a higher volume, he is a better shooter than people give him credit for and $4100 is very good value.
Jermaine Samuels – Villanova
Everyone on Villanova is going to do well today even my man Samuels, who is back in a good grove his last two and with the extra pace here should accumulate rebounds, blocks, steals and other peripheral stats that make him a nice floor play.
Also Consider:
- Storm Murphy (VT)
- Aaron Wheeler (St Johns)
- Hunter Catoor (VT)

Jabari Smith – Auburn – 7800
Big time players in big time games. One of the keys for Kentucky this season no doubt has been the play of transfer Oscar Tschiebwe inside but any time that Auburn can get Smith on Oscar today he will carve him up with his athleticism and ability to hit outside shots as well. If we get Smith active on the glass I don’t see how he doesn’t finish above 30 with potential for a 50 burger.
