WEATHER All clear   Parker Messick (DK: $9200) Ho-hum, a heavy mix of fastball and change-ups against a lineup that does hit changes well but has never seen Messick — this is the big advantage to him as he keeps them off balance and puts up another ~6 inning, 2 ER, 6 strikeout line to start things off. Logan Gilbert (DK: $10,000) It’s a little bit of the reverse blowout theory, although bragging about 22 runs when you had a position player pitching and Julio Rodriguez throwing the ball into the stands with two outs is kinda lame.  So, lets bank on the theory here and hope Gilbert is fine.  Not a glowing endorsement, but the options are thin. Seth Lugo (DK: $6800) I’m of the belief that the Royals should have taken a box of cracker jacks for Lugo at the trade deadline if they could have.  He’s 36 years sold & the decline is there.  But he’s still good at home in Kauffman stadium & should do fine against a young Athletics lineup. WEATHER Chance of late showers in the White Sox vs Cubs game, which is a reason why they should go back to all day games there in my opinion. All other games are clear.   Kyle Harrison (DK: $10,000) A little side note on the opponent before I give you the logic on Harrison.  I think Seattle is an interesting longshot to make the World Series.  You can laugh, but Houston’s little surge appears to be slowing down, and the American League basically has no competent team right now that you can trust.  They have the pitching, their bullpen is somewhat in tact and the lineup while vastly overrated, does have a few unique pieces in it which setup well in the playoffs.  Brendan Donovan/Taylor Ward are the type of post-season bats you need.  Wrapped with their experience last year I think they could sneak up and just lean on their pitching — which we know is great at home. That said, tonight they’re facing Harrison who is likely going to bounce back at home himself.  This is a game which projects to be a low scoring 3-1 type ballgame & with limited options, riding Harrison makes sense. George Klassen (DK: $6500) See above on my comment about Houston hitting the wall.  There’s a bunch of 6k-7k guys tonight that lok like landmines.  Take a gamble on Klassen who is proving himself as a young arm for the Halos. Ranger Suarez (DK: $8700) Arenado is out again, Marte is faking injuries and Suarez is not pitching great but also not terrible of late.  He’s only thrown 65-70-81 pitches his last three starts, but the trend back to getting depth is favorable here.   BRAVES vs TWINS Offense galore on this spot today.  Load em up and send em out all night fellas.
