Mid week split slates – things that in the middle of the summer are just right. The afternoon starts early with a 12:10 start down in the Trop! between the Orioles and Rays, and has a total of six games on it including a 7-inning Padres/Braves game and yes the game in Coors as well. […]
OK folks! Great Open last weekend! The Will Zalatoris withdrawal hurt me a lot but I still managed to cash in a lineup with 4 guys making the cut. Of course, they were Spieth, Morikawa, Rahm and MacIntyre. That scored 484 on FanDuel with Zalatoris only playing one round. Oh, the “what could have beens” […]
An insane night last night which brought back 2017-2019 level flashbacks on the amount of home runs which were being drilled out of stadiums. Reducing the spin rates on baseballs via the sticky stuff was not going to correlate as strongly into a HR boost as you saw last night. Reducing the spin rates simply […]
The rust has been swiped off and the model continued to be really strong identifying one offs yesterday. A good sized Monday to start things off today and looking ahead at the full schedule this week it looks very consistent and hopefully the weather starts to cooperate more. I strongly believe we are going to […]
Happy Sunday with 10 games covering our MAIN slate before the afternoon tilt slate which is then followed by the Snoozedown game between the Red Sox and Yankees. The Padres/Nationals game was suspended last night due to a shooting outside of the stadium in Washington, DC — which is really scary in many ways because […]
Overview This week the NASCAR Cup Series heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire. The track called the “Magic Mile” is a 1.058 mile slightly banked asphalt oval track. NHMS is similar to Richmond and Phoenix Raceways as far as characteristics go. Over the past two races at NHMS, there have been […]
MLB has started the second half of the season off with a heavy Saturday night slate instead of splitting the Saturday games up. Likely because they are worried about hot games in certain locations and want better attendance. We saw that I was dead wrong on how the hitting would come out last night and […]
Welcome back from the All-Star Break! After doing an article for about 100 straight days and playing DFS every day, sometimes twice, it felt like an eternity going four days without real MLB DFS article or contests to enter. Sure, we passed the time with some HR derby props or some All-Star Game plays, but […]
As I mentioned with the All-Star Game article, these single game articles aren’t really my cup of tea and I hope I was clear when you subscribed that we do not focus on MLB content for slates smaller than four games. But honestly, do you you really want to spend your Thursday evening sweating out […]
While I am very public about jokingly poking fun at the fantasy football talk in April, May and June – I usually do start opening things up post July 4th and highly anticipate the start of training camps in August. My personal opinion though is that I prefer to do drafts in mid to late […]
