WEATHER No issues tonight.   Jacob deGrom (DK: $9500, FD: $9800) A marquee game tonight will be the return of Jacob deGrom to Citi Field and he comes in against the Mets newest toy in Jonah Tong.  The real story here though is the Rangers back in the AL Playoff race, quickly chasing on the tails of the Wild Card race while the Mets continue their free fall out of the race as one of the worst teams in the second half of the season.  That, right there, is the main reason we are on deGrom today. Sandy Alcantara (DK: $6000, FD: $8500) The Tigers just went through the Yankees pitching like it was nothing – but prior to that had been kinda mediocre themselves.  Sandy’s just priced way wrong here as I assume they factored in his low win % against Skubal on the other side.  Not only should we take Sandy, but we should also back the Marlins ML. WEATHER Storms to monitor in Atlanta and Tampa.  Two of the more interesting games on the slate tonight.   Merrill Kelly (DK: $8000, FD: $8700) … Could be wishful thinking of me hoping the Astros implode in September.  Texas sweeping them could be a start to that. Cristopher Sanchez (DK: $9700, FD: $10,200) Michael McGreevy (DK: $5800, FD: $7500)   Both of the bad weather games have some pitchers who shouldn’t get run out in the first three innings, but also are very vulnerable to HR or short outings.  I think the Mariners & Guardians are likely the two I would focus on the most from those four with the two home teams Atlanta/Tampa not being bad either. After them we look at the Padres going into Coors against Kyle Freeland along with the Diamondbacks at home versus Boston as two good spots today, but the overall best game?  Fuck yeah, lets go to Athletics and Angels.  The Athletics are a very contrarian spot against Soriano, but one I like.
