Preview this weeks Sunday Night / Monday Night prime time games and DFS rankings
Welcome to the FullTimeDFS Prime-Time Slate breakdown for Week 2. Now that we are finally past week one we will get into the regular routine of having a SNF and MNF dual combination of slates to attack. Keep in mind, we are not focused on doing 150 entry analysis for these slates and anyone who is playing Showdown should remember that you are playing a different style of DFS game there and one that doesn’t translate from articles and advice directly over to the building of lineups. So the picks and plays listed here are focused primarily on the 2 game SNF-MNF slate but you can certainly use these guys as core builds for any showdown optimizations that you do.
The Games
The Chalk Game
Philadelphia vs Atlanta is rightfully the popular game on this slate as it features two defenses that showed big holes back in week 1 and it’s on a track that produced tons of fantasy gold as it’s a very fast track down in that new Atlanta Spaceship stadium they have there. I think there is going to be some donkey plays in the Cleveland/Jets game because folks want to be cool and root for the Browns and folks want to be cool and root for the Jets, two lovable loser franchises, but if you want to be really trendy go get on with the REAL lovable loser franchise here — the Falcons in what should be a shootout in Atlanta but with the majority leaning to the Eagles side.

Defenses
I would go away from the mess in the Eagles backfield this week and it will be tempting for folks to lock them in as the chalk play. Gimme Wentz leading the air attack.
Carson Wentz
Jordan Howard
Calvin Ridley
Dallas Goeddert

Cleveland 23, NY Jets 20
