NFL DFS SNF Showdown – Week 14 – Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles>
Core Plays
Dallas Cowboys; QB Dak Prescott
- Prescott is a no-brainer here against this leaky secondary of the Eagles. Earlier this season on the road Prescott threw for 374 yards and three touchdowns in a losing effort. In this matchup at home where Dallas has been handling business I would expect no less than 325 and two scores against the team allowing close to the most passing yards per game.
Philadelphia Eagles: WR A.J. Brown
- It’s hard to overlook Brown in this spot, actually it’s impossible despite a couple of “quiet weeks” over the past month. A.J. made up for the lackluster efforts against the Chiefs and Bills of late with a monster effort last week against the 49ers (8/114) despite not scoring. In the first meeting Brown had a modest 7/66 line but I expect that to increase significantly in a huge spot.
*NOTE: All plays above are obviously “Captain” viable
Captain Plays
Philadelphia Eagles: QB Jalen Hurts
- The upside Hurts has rushing the ball and basically handling the goalline work is impossible to overlook as a captain. Hurts has 12 rushing touchdowns on the season to go with his 19 passing scores and has three total touchdowns in the first meeting between these two teams. The floor is too safe and the upside is immense with his rushing ability.
Others to consider:
- WR CeeDee Lamb (DAL)
- WR DeVonta Smith (PHI)
Flex Plays
Dallas Cowboys: TE Jake Ferguson
- Ferguson is second on the team in receptions and is coming off a 6/77/1 effort just last week. In this matchup earlier in the season Ferguson hauled in seven catches for 91 yards and a touchdown. It’s clear the Dak trust’s Ferguson and will rely on him in the middle of the field when needed.
Others to consider:
- Brandin Cooks (DAL)
- RB D’Andre Swift (PHI)
- TE Dallas Goedert (PHI)
- WR Michael Gallup (DAL)
- WR KaVonte Turpin (DAL)
- K’s Brandon Aubrey (DAL) and Jake Elliott (PHI)
