CFB DFS Tailgate – Oct 18th

BEST GAMES

Baylor at TCU:  QB dominant game, sets up as the best game stack option.

Georgia Tech at Duke:  Should be a fun one.  Said literally nobody ever about a Georgia Tech / Duke football game in mid October.  Well, times are a changing my friend.

Texas Tech at Arizona State:  You, me, your uncle, and your neighbors cat are all gonna be on the Sun Devils.  And damnit, we are on team right side!  Shootout potential here.

Quarterback this week is really three guys.  Hoover vs Robertson and then Haynes King, who somehow is just $8300 against Duke’s 117th ranked pass defense.

Josh Hoover – TCU – $8300

Sawyer Robertson – Baylor – $8900

I’m more of a Robertson guy than Hoover but dont dislike Hoover and he’s likely the higher owned of the two.

Haynes King – Georgia Tech – $8300

King should account for most of the GT touchdowns, which I believe is definitely going to be three or more.

TOP PLAYS

Nate Sheppard – Duke – $6600

Three straight weeks of double digit carries for Sheppard, he runs hard and has a big run likely today.  Logic says he wont score 2 TD three straight weeks, so yeah, he’s scoring 3 … right?

Cameron Dickey – Texas Tech – $7700

Tricky RB slate, go contrarian here because Texas Tech is very likely to lean on him heavily and so the volume is a fantastic floor.

SECOND TIER / VALUE

Rueben Owens – Texas A&M – $4400

Kevorian Barnes – TCU – $4900

Adam Randall – Clemson – $6700 … While SMU has been worse against the pass, if Cade is out then Randall is likely to get a few more key touches.

TOP PLAYS

Jordyn Tyson – Arizona State – $7700

Give me Tyson over Jeremiah Smith any day of the week here.  With value at RB as flex options we can go up to this level & get our 30 spot at WR.  He’s going to destroy the Red Raiders.  Sammy Leavitt is a nice QB stack option too as he returns.

KC Concepcion – Texas A&M – $6100

Just play him is my motto.  This is a classic potential upset spot on the road but that would only mean more Concepcion short passes if they are in a tight game late.

Eric McAlister – TCU – $6300

We had him when nobody else did and now he is the highest projected owned WR in this top game.  DJ Rogers is a sneaky value option to pivot off McAlister from the Frogs as I like lots of TE this week for some stupid reason.  But McAlister easily is the higher upside play.

SECOND TIER

Josh Cameron – Baylor – $5600

Michael Trigg – Baylor – $5600

Trey’Dez Green – LSU – $4600

Malik Rutherford – Georgia Tech – $3700

Bryant Wesco – Clemson – $5900

DEEPEST POSITION FOR FLEX

Wide Receiver is VERY deep this week.  But not “loaded”.  Nice balanced lineup build in the FLEX spots.

CORE PLAYS

Sawyer Robertson or Josh Hoover

Nate Sheppard

Jordyn Tyson
