NBA DROPPING DIMES- Saturday October 30th

Tonight brings a 10 game  slate starting at p.m. ET.

The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays  along with a few additional plays and a few value plays. You won’t always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. Players listed first at each position are my favorite and a good start to build a lineup around.

(Note: All pricing and fantasy points are based on DraftKings but can be used for all sites.)

Keep an eye on the injury status of players as they can be ruled out right before lock.

Game/s to Target:

Bucks/Spurs and Grizzlies/Warriors

NOTES:

FPPM= Fantasy Points Per Minute, FPPG= Fantasy Points Per Game, PPG=Points per Game, Value=Projected points/salary(This will differ depending on the site).

Killian Hayes, Detroit Pistons ($3800/$4400)

Hayes has played 27 and 32 minutes respectively over the past two games. His production has been up on that timeframe as well. It is only a matter of time where he get backs to form and starts producing at a higher clip. Under priced on Draftkings at under 4K and he is in line to put up 25-30 FPs and return an excellent value. Cade Cunningham is slated to be back tonight. He is also worth a look at $3600.

Also consider:Dejounte Murray- fastest paced game on the slate. These are the games where Murrays excels. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Value:  Kemba Walker- minutes have been consistent and so has production, Pat Beverly-22 plus FPs in all three games this year, Delano Banton

TJ McConnel– price is down from $5500 to $4900 on DK. Looks like Brogdon will be out again tonight. He put up 22 FPs on a 4-14 shooting night.  30-40 fps upside

Joe Ingles, Utah Jazz ($4700/&4700)

The Jazz will be without Mike Conley tonight. This opens up a starting spot and more minutes. Ingles will most likely pick up the start and will see some additional usage as well. Even though Mitchell is the biggest benefactor from Conleys absence Ingles becomes an excellent play at his price. Also, Ingles has played well over the past two games averaging 27 minutes and close to 30 FPs. Ingles,  Jordan Clarkson and Mitchell are in play tonight.

Also consider: Donovan Mitchell- + 10% usage with Conley off the floor, Tyler Herro, Fred VanVleet- guards have done well against Pacers, bounce back spot.

Value: Alex Caruso,  Lonnie Walker IV

Naji Marshall, New Orleans Pelicans ($3900/$$3700)

No Brandon Ingram tonight, so Marshall will get some additional minutes. Has shown last year that he can produce 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Also consider: Jimmy Butler –similar to last night> Excellent spot and the price is not right! Grizzlies have been one of the worst teams defensively and this game will be faced paced, Jerami Grant

Value: Torrey Craig,  Aaron Gordon, Devin Vassell

John Collins, Atlanta Hawks ($6600/$6500)

Collins continues to play well and his price is barely moving. Double-doubles in the last two games. Played big minutes last game against the Wizards. Good matchup tonight against the Sixers who rank 20th in defense efficiency.

Also consider: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Doatis Sabonis

Value: Jaden McDaniels, Jordan Nwora

*I would be all in on Nikola Jokic tonight if I knew he was going to play his full minutes. I do think he starts and play, but due to his recent injury I am not sure he will play 30 plus minutes.

Bam Adebayo if he plays – if not Jakob Poeltl

Also consider:   Mo Bamba, Jakob Poeltl

Value: Mitchell Robinson,Derrick Favors, JaVale McGee

CORE PLAYS

  • Joe Ingles
  • TJ McConnel- banking that Brodgon sits again
  • John Collins
  • Bam Adebayo- if he sits then Jimmy Butler

Dimes Play(GPP Play  of the Night) Under 5k Player with low ownership and upside

Dimes play will be listed in Discord tonight at :645
